The MOVE EDGE Allows Counties to manage Elections and deliver Electronic Voting Ballots to overseas Military Personnel.
The MOVE EDGE system is a web based application that enables County Elections Departments to deliver electronic Voting Ballots to Military Personnel that reside overseas or in combat areas in support of the MOVE ACT. The system allows the creation of Elections, supports importing PDF representations of the specific Precinct and Ballot Style ballots and Voter information to be used in the email delivery of the electronic ballots.
The system tracks all aspects of the process such as Ballot Assigned, Email Sent, User Voted/Marked Ballot, Envelope Received, Ballot Accepted, and Ballot Tabulated. The MOVE EDGE now supports direct integration with Voter Registration Systems such as VEMACS by VOTEC via Web Services. The MOVE EDGE system can be implemented on premises or hosted in a County or State implementation.

THE MOVE EDGE - Ballot Marking solution has been approved by the Texas Secretary of State as meeting the Texas Election Code Section 101.106 and Texas Administrative Code Section 81.39(d)(2).

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to test the latest version of MOVE EDGE version 4 in order to determine whether or not to approve it under Texas Election Code Section 101.106 and Texas Administrative Code Section 81.39(d)(2).
We have reviewed this ballot delivery system and have insured that the marked ballot with bar code will function without having access to the internet to generate the bar code. As we understand it, the bar code will assist election workers in duplicating the ballot style with the voter’s choices when the mail ballot is printed and returned.
Given our test, we therefore approve this version of MOVE EDGE for use in delivering mail ballots electronically to the UOCAVA population who have requested electronic blank ballot delivery. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
